Dodgers in 6.

Seeing a lot of Yankees fans who are rooting for the Dodgers, but I'll probably root for the Astros. Would be their first world championship, and obviously the Yankees have a great historical rivalry with the Dodgers as well.

Ditto. American League camaraderie, 'mate. There's really no shame in losing to a really good team. Peeved about blowing a 3-2 series lead, of course, but the Astros themselves I have no problem with.

Yeah, neither do I. I'd like to see Astros fans get a ring after all these years (especially given all that's happened in Houston recently). I was pulling for them in 2005 (largely because of Pettitte), and hope for a better result this time around. Altuve annoyed the hell out of me this series, but I have no beef with the Astros. They're a great team and very exciting to watch.

Going to be a good series. Want the Dodgers to win obviously, but I'd be okay with the Astros taking it, too. (Whereas I would not want the Dodgers losing to the Yankees). Much less travel going to be involved now, too, no cross-country flying required. AL West vs. NL West champions, this World Series will be the ultimate division series to an extent.

I expected Cleveland to win the World Series this year so the fact that the Yankees made it this far is gravy.  Someone suggested to me back in April that the Yankees could make it to the WS.  I laughed in his face and said no better than third in the division.  I have to now buy him lunch this coming week but that's ok.  Would have been great to make it to the WS again but this series reminded me a lot of 95 and in a way 96.  The Astros bullpen is shakey, the Yankees showed how to shut down Altuve and Correa in stretches, and unless Keuchel and Verlander can pitch like Schilling and Johnson in 2001 I see the Dodgers winning this in 5.

I'm going to have to say Dodgers in 7. like with the ALCS, I think Home Field is going to play a huge factor.

100% agree. The Astros didn’t prove that they can beat great pitching on the road. We’ll see how that pans out for them when they don’t have the home field.

But an Astros Dodgers World Series? That sounds absolutely AWESOME. It's still my least favorite sports team, but at least it's two long suffering fan bases and two young, deserving teams. It's also a new matchup that could start a great cross league rivalry. This matchup is VERY exciting to me.

Well, they did used to be divisional rivals....

Congrats to the Astros for being the first team to win Pennants in both leagues. That's a pretty damn cool & unique accomplishment.

Congratulations on existing while the Texas Rangers incessantly bitched about their TV schedule!

So much is gonna come down to Kershaw, though. He was good in Game 5, but it almost didn’t matter. If he’s great, they’ll win his starts. If he’s not, that offense has to be there, like it was the other night.

Dodgers in 7, with the home team winning every game

I can see that.  I'm going to say if Houston wins one in LA, they'll win in 5.  If they don't and LA can snipe one in Houston, they'll win in 6.  If it goes 7, it's really a coin toss.

I'm going to predict that the Kershaw yips come back tonight and the Astros win game 1 by a wide margin. I'll say 8-3, with Kershaw giving up 7 and only lasting 3 2/3.

I think Keuchel (who’s whole thing is never throwing in the zone) is gonna get rocked by the Dodgers (who don’t chase), and Kershaw finally puts this dumb playoff narrative behind him.
