I like that Fenway and Wrigley will basically be around forever, even if in Ship-of-Theseus form. May Dodger Stadium last forever too.

Minute Maid Park sucks, I hate it, I'm rooting against the Astros in large part because of how much I hate that park.

I hate Enron Field and all it's contrivances. The Crawford Boxes are the biggest joke this side of right field in the Bronx. Correa's home run was a popup that wouldn't have cleared the fence on my high school's field.

That game was incredible, but it being played in that goofy bandbox slightly diminished how much I enjoyed it. I'm glad we're going back to Dodger Stadium for the last two so we can play the games in an actual adult ballpark.

This would've gone down as one of the greatest World Series' of all time if last night was the clincher. It's like the Cubs and Indians were bragging about how great their series was last year, and the Astros and Dodgers replied "hold my beer".

The only games I've been able to watch with fidelity so far have been Game 2 and 5 and man, were those fun to watch as a neutral observer.

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

Games like last night and Game 2 are why I laugh at the plebs who insist that baseball is "boring" and a "dying sport."

Games 2 and 5 are the exception, not the rule though. Those games are baseball (playoff baseball) at its best, but let's not pretend like this is close to average.

Last night could've very easily been just some run-of-the-mill 4-1 Dodger win if Kershaw was on, Astros hitting was just a little off, etc.

Also, as fun as that game was, it went after midnight on a school night! Stop running scared of footbaw and start weekend games in the afternoon. Now that everyone hates football because players won't have sex with the American flag, there's never been a better time to have the World Series go toe-to-toe with I dunno Titans-49ers or some crap.

Roberts just gave the Astros the World Series turning the game over to a dead-ass bullpen with 58 pitches on Hill and 4 1/3 innings to go.

That’s the second time he did that with Hill, does anyone know why? I was listening to sports radio the other day and they mentioned Roberts pulled Hill in game 2 before his third time through the order. Is it that simple? If so, then that’s pretty stupid. Analytics are good, but you gotta be able to adapt and change your strategy on the fly.

Yeah I keep hearing all this "It's over and there's no way the Dodgers lose game 7" talk. I also heard that "This 1-0 lead for the Astros with Verlander on the hill dealing might as well be 7-0.", so I'm not so sure about that.

I cant imagine Darvish being off twice in this series. Could you imagine a situation where it's close late, Kershaw comes in out of the pen, and gets killed? I kinda could.

Compared with how other teams have lost game 6 of the 2011 WS up 3-2, this is a game I don’t think Houston will completely be haunted by IMHO.

Like, the last time a Texas team was up 3-2 in this spot.... this was nothing compared to THAT.

Yes, Houston was innings away, but the 2002 Giants, 1986 Red Sox, and 1985 Cardinals were also close and had their hearts truly ripped out.

I am not saying Houston will win game 7, but I have seen much more gruesome ways to lose in this spot.

Dodger Stadium is such a lovely building.

Too bad it sounds like a damn church in there compared to Minute Maid.

Minute Maid is nice, but it is a joke.  The Stros were so hell bent on shoehorning it into downtown Houston that they obviously had to make some concessions to make it fit.  The upper deck is uncomfortably steep, the concourses are embarrassingly tight for a relatively modern venue, and as many have said, left field is a joke.  At least "Tal's Hill" its gone.  Wouldn't it be great if the Astros blew a key World Series game because of that gimmick?

You'll notice that's when the Dodgers got to Verlander. Third time up.

I know, and I also know that that's statistically when a lot of pitchers fall apart.  But two times Dave Roberts pulled Rich Hill when he had not thrown a lot of pitches, had not thrown a lot of innings, and overused his bullpen.  IMO you've got to be able to sacrifice statistics sometimes and be able to read the game.  ironically it's been the Dodgers' pen that has blown leads for them and given the Astros some wins.
