That's a good one.

Any thoughts on the names for the other cities?

I like the San Francisco dragons, with all of the Chinese culture in that area I think it would be a unique idea. Also like the Dreadnoughts for San Diego and the Los Angeles Earthquakes/Quakes/Stars

Looking back at some of the helmet mockups, I tend to like the smoother, non-hockey style shells that are more like football helmets just because there's more room for designs, logos, striping, etc.

I'll second SF dragons, I think there's lots of room to do some cool stuff there.

Cool. What I'm trying to find, as I stated before, is the right balance of functionality, style, ventilation and branding space.

The cities that are really tripping me up as far as coming up with names so far are LA, Cincy and Cleveland.

I think Stars would be an obvious choice for LA, maybe something to do with the La Brea Tar Pits like Mammoths or Saber Cats. Condors, Cougars could work too.

For Cleveland, I was immediately thinking Lakers, Captains, playing up the Lake Erie theme. Chiefs or Braves if you wanna go with a Native American theme , those are just some ideas off the top of my head.

What about Salmon for Seattle leads itself to an interesting color scheme

Calverts is an option for Baltimore, given the founding family of Maryland.

Oakland Squirrels is a great name. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Unicorns and Muskies will be fun too.

The league logo seems fine for the era we're in right now. Are you making a logo for the PCDL too?

Also I agree with @CodeG, don't do too many expansions in a little amount of time. I like the idea of having 2 teams in 1954, two more in 1960, then a possible merge later into the decade. That way you have time to build team identities and play around with rebrands and relocation.
