Plus every major city in Texas seems to embrace the star in their indivisual flags and some variation of blue or red. If you want to appeal to fans outside of Houston, slap the Texas flag on it and it sells. And over the last several years they’ve had white sleeves, but they’re going back to burgundy sleeves this time around. Considering that, I could definitely see them going with light blue shorts instead of white to really distance themselves from the Gunners’ classic home look. That said, this is all just speculation based on the Reddit poster’s resaturation of the teaser images, so the shorts could just as easily be white. upperV03 Posted February 7, 2018 Share Posted February 7, 2018 Another, clearer look at the full SKC secondary: Really dissapointing that it’s essentially just a plain black kit. It just doesn’t have the same uniqueness that we’ve become accustomed to with SKC’s kits in recent years. The same can be said, to a lesser extent, with their current home kit as well. And sure, the new secondary has the little argyle details as the jocktag and on the back neck, but they’re hardly noticeable and seem almost like an afterthought. Normally that would be okay, but Sporting KC's kits have typically been spectacular or better. I doubt these will be hard to come by like the black argyle jerseys were. Love that graphic print, as it fits nicely with their current brand, and could be interpreted as a subtle tribute to the old “Clash” brand as well.
