The season’s more than two months long… Bit annoyed about being the first team out when you beat the last team in, on the road, without your two best players, AND they finished with the same conference record as you and didn’t really have better wins, but at the same time, I can’t make the good case that ND should be ahead of some of the teams behind it in the pecking order (SMC and MTSU most notably), so I’m fine getting left out. Notre Dame wasn’t winning this thing or making a good run anyway — we were never as good as preseason expectation when healthy — so I’d rather go tear things up in the NIT and send off our seniors right.
