Yeah, the Magic's attempts to "grow up" as a franchise have never worked. They should have stuck with the paintbrush scripts and pinstripes all along (I'll allow for a slight deviation to the sublimated star pattern but even that wasn't quite the same).

Completely agreed. I normally hate cartoony-style sports uniforms, but this set is iconic to me and perfectly fitting for Orlando. Their attempt to modernize it just made it feel sterile and forgettable, ironically fitting for their roster over the past few years. It's one of the more rare cases where I would be alright with seeing a full-fledged return to a throwback.

I wouldn't 100% go back to the original jerseys and logo. Going back to their second logo with a uniform heavily influenced on the originals would work best. The original basketball logo is just a tad too bland and the current basketball is perfect in my opinion.

But, yes, please go back to this styled look.

I liked the Sixers gray when it was revealed, but didn't love it.  I liked it more when it was debuted on the court, but still didn't love it.  I'm godsdamned close to being in love with it now that I've seen it a few times.  The heathering is great, and the stars/numbers are more visible than I thought they'd be.  It's unique in the league, looks very good on the floor, and is probably my favorite "city" jersey (though I still prefer last year's.)

The Nets debuted their Biggie-inspired City uniforms tonight, and even had matching Coogi pattern arm sleeves:

This, like the Prince uniform, just seems so try-hard to me. It's a quick trip from these to all of those "quirky" minor league baseball uniforms. We're a year or two away from Star Wars Houston Rockets or Twinkies Golden State Warriors or a Trail Blazers version of this:

The Pacers already beat everyone else; don't forget how they continuously wear those two-toned, "Hoosiers" Hickory uniforms.

For $100 each, you can buy M&N basketball shorts that are essentially the sheets you had/wanted when you were a kid:

Guys, just buy the sheets on eBay and mail them to my mom, she'll make you a nice pair for basically nothing. #solved
