Decided to watch some reaction compilations from the big moments of the playoffs, and when one clip showed a young Saints fan (about 13-ish years old? I think) screaming after the Minneapolis Miracle I thought, "You're OK kid, your team won the SB just a couple years ago" Until I realized "a couple years ago" is actually 8, that SB XLIV happened a little more than a month into this decade, that this decade will be over in 1 year 11 months, and that kid was probably 5-ish years old in 2010 and might not even remember that game clearly if at all.

I'm in my early 20s. This is just gonna get more and more common with longer stretches of time for me as time goes on, isn't it?

Nah... soon, you won't even be able to remember what you had for breakfast yesterday.

You've got that right.

I remain stunned that as much time passed from 2008 to 2018 as 1980 to 1990.  The later seems sooooooo much longer.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

I'm 36 now. I feel like I was just 26 two weeks ago. But the stretch between me being 6 and 16 actually felt like a full decade. Adulthood is strange.

Not really. For the longest time if you Googled "New York Jets Owner" then Tom Brady's Wikipedia profile popped up. Of anything, Internet 1, Patriots 1.

NFL just announced the 5 finalists for the next two drafts. Denver, Nashville, Cleveland/Canton, Kansas City and Las Vegas.

Nashville having the draft along Broadway could be really cool. Las Vegas seems like an obvious choice for 2020.

Having lived in Northeast Ohio, a Cleveland/Canton draft doesn't sound all that exciting.

Pretty incredible that ESPN lost the rights.  They built their name in great part due to having the balls to televise the NFL Draft.

I’m going to miss the little “pick Is in” chime.

ESPN's still got the rights. Now it's gonna be on 3 networks with Fox simulcasting the NFL Network feed and my god you thought the NFL couldn't go more overkill, didn't you?

Either Jonathan Martin is really stupid or he's so psychologically damaged from his playing days that he thought that was a good idea. Either way I feel bad for him.

I don’t want to try and clinically diagnose the issue here because I dont have the qualifications to, but this kinda feels like it originates further back than his playing days with the Dolphins. It’s one thing to be thinned skinned/effected by bullying like that, but to still be pushing the issue this many years out? That feels like some sort of possibly undiagnosed mental disorder.
