Player-Team-Uniform Similarities

Pretty simple explanation:

Post facts and pictures about athletes who have not had any drastic changes of uniform in their careers.

Examples-

Alex Smith has only played for teams, college and professional, that use variations of red as the primary color. University of Utah, SF 49ers, KC Chiefs, and soon-to-be WAS Redskins.

(Fact via @McCarthy)

Sam Bradford has only played for teams in the NFL whose primary logos are not present on the helmets (STL Rams, PHI Eagles, MIN Vikings).

Peyton Manning only played for teams, college and professional, whose colors consisted of Orange (University of Tennessee ), Blue (IND Colts), or both (DEN Broncos). Additionally, both Denver and Indianapolis have horse related nicknames.

Please feel free to post any facts you find or know!

I’ve always found it interesting that Tim Tebow went from Florida Gators orange and blue, to Denver Broncos orange and blue (only team he really had major playing time for), and then New York Mets orange and blue.

Similarily, Jay Cutler went from Denver (Navy and Orange) to Bears (Navy and Orange)...and I guess the Dolphins are Blue and Orange, granted its aqua blue but still

Ah, that's one I forgot to post in the OP. Good catch. To elaborate even further, when Cutler was traded for Kyle Orton, neither had to really change colors. Both the Broncos and Bears are Blue and Orange.

Gary Carter and Keith Hernandez, teammates on the 1986 New York Mets World Series championship team, wore uniforms that had racing stripes on that at some point or another (in addition to the Mets, Carter played for the Montreal Expos when they had racing stripes, and Hernandez in his one season with the Indians in 1990, wore racing stripes as well).

Kevin Shattenkirk, defenseman for the New York Rangers, has only played for teams who have blue in their color scheme (COL Avalanche, STL Blues, WAS Capitals, NY Rangers). 3 out of 4 have a color scheme of Red, Blue, and White (COL, WAS, NYR)

Karl Alzner, defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens, used to play for the Washington Capitals. Both teams color scheme is Red, Blue, and White.

Albeit different shades of blue, Eli Manning has only played for Ole Miss and the Giants, which means he has only worn red, white and Blue Jerseys in his career, considering that he played in white during the crazy color pro bowl era. Additionally, both Ole Miss and the Giants wore Grey pants (at least for most of his career) and they both have a blue helmet with a single red stripe which obviously he also wore in the Pro Bowls he’s been to.

To add to this, not only have all the teams Smith played for worn red, but they've all had some version of red and gold as their colour scheme, which is weirdly specific.

Utah doesn't have gold in their colors, just red and black.

Gilbert Arenas spent his entire NBA career playing for heavily blue teams

The same can be said about Allen Iverson... sorta... Between his two 76ers stints, The Nuggets, Pistons, and Grizzlies all use blue as their primary color. Coincidentally, as he got older, the shades got darker.
