CrookedThumb
The Orlando Magic Facebook page says that the Solar Bears will wear these when they play at Amway Arena tomorrow night. The page is also doing a jersey giveaway, which I think ends pretty soon.
sky1324
This looks great and I really hope that more teams will do this. I'd like to see the Big 4 do crossovers like this often, but that may be a pipe dream. the user formerly known as cdclt
Gothamite
You won’t see it in the Big Four because those teams are competitors (except in the case of shared ownership, and even then to an extent). We like to think of all our teams as brothers in sport, united in the goal of representing our fair city. But in truth, they are bitter competitors who resent each other’s success and compete fiercely for fan dollars. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. charger77
Wish they’d replace the basketball logo with a puck, seems weird to see a basketball on a hockey jersey. PotD May 11th, 2011looooooogodud: June 7th 2010 - July 5th 2012
WSU151
The hockey team's marketers (and likely the basketball team's execs) are obviously aware that the 90s look is far more popular than any of the 21st century uniforms, but the Magic can't go back to the exact same look because of NBA rules. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Gothamite
Hockey teams do all manner of strange warmups, though. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
M4One
The Magic and Solar Bears are owned by the same guy, so that makes it a whole lot easier to make that type of crossover happen for a real game. It'll never happen in any of the major leagues outside of warm ups, though, even if teams were owned by the same guy. The Ducks have also done the warm up crossover and the Blues a couple of times. The Cardinals returned the favour for battling practice.
IceCap
Unpopular opinion I guess... These “crossovers” don’t work. Only because they're using practice jerseys. If they made a jersey set to look like the jerseys of the team honored they'd look a lot better.
