hettinger_rl Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 I was looking through the NFL logos on the mother ship and this one stood out to me as one to try to rework. The shape has always seemed off to me and I realized that it is because this head was lifted off of the full (human) bodied Chicago/St. Louis Cardinals logos so it doesn't give much of a full bodied bird feel. The head seems to taper down into a human-like neck area. So here is my take: No highlight vs highlight? I'm still undecided as to whether it would "fly" as an NFL logo or if it's just a nice cardinal logo. C&C appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Arizona has one of the harder logos to update in the league, but this is my favorite attempt on this forum. Realistically I feel like the teams current logo combined with the relative success of the team compared to their past will make it stay for a long time. I actually like the oversized eye in their real logo to give it a distinct quality when compared to other cardinal logos but yours is definitely more accurate to the look of cardinals in nature. Yeah I think the next ones I have thoughts on have already been worked on by you. I'm trying to find the ones that have issues that bug me or that have gotten stale.
