Rocket Laval_Logo Copy

I find this logo out of touch for a league that prepares the rookies for the major league (NHL). As it has no real history with the Canadiens (the Rocket hockey club have been newly created last year out of nothing), they created a logo that looks older than the main club, which doesn't make sense.

A team full of promising new players should display something more dynamic than this ultra static logo.

It also a pale copy of Kodak logo, with a chunky block of massive color and a vertical type.

Not impressive. Boring, clunky, not inspiring.

Yes, I can see the direct inspiration and motionless logo like stuck in the ice. Don't know much about hockey but this logo don't seem to be an intelligent and instinctive solution for a team made out of the best hockey players on fire.

It looks more appropriate for a team of veterans.

Let's have a look at the Habs' past few affiliates.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
