habsfan1
Barry Bonds had his #25 retired by the Giants today. He put up numbers throughout his career, but still has 0 World Series rings.

The_Admiral
Joe Maddon is a lot like an Instagram thot in that he has convinced people he is intelligent simply by wearing eyeglasses. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

PittsburghSucks
The Tribe may have the worst record of the 10 teams to make the 2018 MLB Playoffs. They may also be the first team to punch their ticket to the playoffs.

8BW14
So the Cardinals are fun to watch again. They're 17-9 since Mike Shildt took over, haven't lost a series in two weeks and have won six games in a row now. Matt Carpenter is hitting like Albert Pujols, the bullpen is pitching well with the new guys, they've cleaned up the errors (mostly) and the young guys like Harrison Bader have given the team a real shot in the arm. They've also managed to play their way back into contention for the wildcard and still have a chance, however small, to catch the Cubs. Considering the crap baseball the team has been playing for the last 3-4 years, even if they don't sneak into the playoffs, I'll be more than happy if they can keep playing well and finish the season on a high note. LMU
Oh look, now the Dodgers have two players with irregular heartbeats, the one new bullpen acquisition with a broken leg, and the rest of the bullpen a raging dumpster fire. Fun times.

FiddySicks
The A’s are good to where it doesn’t make any sense, and the Giants are only 5 back in a pretty weak division. I dont really expect much from either team in terms of a playoff run, because they both have playoff teams ahead of them who ate head and shoulders above them, but at least the last two months or so are still interesting here! No, because the team(s) in front of them would have to have a big lead in September to blow ala the 2011 Braves.

I mean the team itself and the hot streak, not the standings. We’ll see if it can be substantiated.
JerseyJimmy
I'm going to laugh if the Astros collapse so hard the Mariners leapfrog them for the second wild card. The best part is that I think it might happen.
