Comparing this to the Browns mess is silly. You could make an objective list of nearly a dozen design flubs for the Browns. This is mostly subjective, with no egregious “no nos”. IMO the font is the only glaring issue, though that could change once shown from multiple angles.

The font is pretty bad for the 8 at least. Maybe the other numbers have points on them that look more natural. Other than that it’s not that bad. I dig the whole sword thing, but going with navy and gray over Columbia blue and gray was a mistake. I think these uniforms would would look best with silver helmets and pants, but then they’d be patriots knockoffs.

Looking back on the hype trailer from last week, I don't think the shoulder yoke is two toned. It really looks like the same silver on both sides of the seam to me.

My eyes tell me these are almost certainly different color materials. The front of the swoosh being in the lighter material means that either the front is what we have seen and the back is slightly darker, or that this is not a shot from the navy jersey. I fully believe from what I've seen that the sword yokes are two toned and split down the middle.

I had a very strong feeling that these were going to be REALLY bad. They’re actually MUCH worse than I anticipated. What a disaster.

Their last set was pretty goofy, but these are just flat out garbage. Nike has a few hits here and there, but my goodness, they’ve absolutely whiffed on several of these NFL reveals.

I will be interested (in a looking-at-a-train-wreck kind of way) to see what the rest of the jersey looks like and if there isn't something not shown at the end of the sleeves.  Probably not, but if they changed the secondary logo to a plain wordmark, maybe there's a reason for it (maybe there's three stars at the end of the sleeves or something).

It may look better with pants (it won't look better with pants).

But yeah, that yoke is joining the new Bucs set in the Awful Yoke Hall of Fame.

The dirty white was ALWAYS the problem with the previous Buccaneers road (home 95% of the home games, too) jersey's. Ohh and these Titans jersey's look really bad.

Im confused, the previous Bucs road white jersey was white, and had no silver at all.  Can you clarify?

There are only really 2 or 3 "flubs": the contrast stitching, the drop shadow, and the number font not matching the wordmark font.

If you want to talk about objectivity, they unified the striping, they made a consistent oversized wordmark on the pants and jersey... although the wordmarks are a disaster, those aren't objective errors.  Same with the orange numbers... they look great on the whites, bad on the browns, but they are consistent... which again, isn't a design error.  They tried to remedy sleeve cap stripes (which everyone always cries about) by carrying the stripe to the front, which was good in concept but poor in application.

That being said, the Jaguars, Buccaneers, and Titans looks are terrible.  The Browns are still terrible, but with those 3 other teams in the mix, they don't look AS terrible.

Sorry, I won't Cleve-jack anymore.  Just making a point that these Titans uniforms will be another swing and a miss.

Whoever Kevin Byard is thinks that "all the fans are going to be super excited."

He's our first-team all-pro safety. Last I heard none of the team had seen them, so it's likely that he may be one of the models tomorrow night.

At least standing alone, I actually really like the move to the silver yoke -- but the number font is bad, the pit coloring is worse, and I have no idea how you can tie this together as a set with helmet and pants.

This sums up my concerns really well. It really just needs to lose the side panels and chose either silver or columbia to use as a secondary and it would look great so far.

I would argue there are a few egregious no-nos here:

Hideous side panels

The number font

The fact that the number font on front of jersey doesn't match those on the shoulders (the little wing tip on the top of the 8 is missing on the shoulders)

Using 5 (potentially 6 if the silver is different shades) colors on a uniform

Plus we haven't seen the pants or helmet yet.

Those are all pretty egregious imo.

Kevin clearly hasn’t visited this place before.

I like the look, maybe an unpopular opinion. A red color rush would be fantastic! Love the look of the home navy, I can only hope everything else is this good.

Yeah, its an unpopular opinion.
