Seriously. If I'm coaching a team in the running for that thing? I'm tanking the last week of the season.

Only 8 Stanley Cup winners in 32 years since the Trophy's inception. 75% chance of no Cup. I'm staying away from it too.

The Peg is 4-7 games from being either the coolest team of all time or completely dead to me. GJG. J-E-T-Syeah let’s not give them any of that bad juju.

Go Jets. Death to Vegas.

Save for a 4-goal second period outburst in game 3 against Minnesota that got Halleybuck pulled, the Jets have been VERY good on the road these playoffs.

Which is amazing considering the original Jets were a dreadful road playoff team (7-27)

This year? 4 road playoff wins, nearly half of what the original version did in 11 playoff appearances.

I think the majority of those road games were in Edmonton against Gretzky or Calgary against Fleury/MacInnis/Vernon. Frankly, I'm surprised they won any at all.

So outside a Tampa, a pretty great Final Four.

Tampa is really the only team I want to lose. Because they already made The Finals in 2015, and the ECF in 2016.

Hopefully Caps can pull of the upset, they already bucked history once!

I see Jets-Knights playing out a lot like Jets-Predators. But Knights will win because Marc Andre Fleury is just too good right now.

Caps-Bolts, unfortunately I'm feeling Bolts in 5.

Red Sox: 8    Celtics: 17    Bruins: 6    Patriots: 5

Is this the first time any Winnipeg team reached the Conference Finals?

In the NHL Era, yes, I think.

The Jets made third rounds in the WHA, but that doesn't count for numerous reasons. I don't think there were conference-final equivalents for those weird pre-1917 teams to reach.
