Kawaii for #8, George Hill, and Zizic?

Lakers have Ingram who would be a better prize than the #8, but I'm not sure if they'd use him as trade bait unless they knew for sure that the Cavs were about to cut in front of them.

As much as Lebron wouldn't want to deal with the Balls, Kawaii would be even more averse to dealing with them.

The Lakers are gonna find a way to walk out of this with Lebron, Kawahi, Paul George, AND CP3. Just watch.

And they’ll STLL get demolished by Golden State.

And yet Simmons thinks they'll also somehow get Lillard to go with LBJ and Kawhi.

The only way the Lakers get Kawhi this summer is if no other team makes a trade offer for him. Ball doesn't have much trade value after his inefficient rookie year and the added headache of his idiot dad. Kuzma ought to be a decent 4th/5th starter on a good team but that's it. Ingram is the next Michael Beasley. Yeah LA could trade away all their firsts again but how valuable are those going to be with Kawhi plus at least one major free agent on the roster for the next few years?

I don't see it. Off the top of my head, the Sixers and Celtics can outbid LA without even lifting a finger. Although I think trading for Kawhi would be a bad move for the Celtics.

I think you’re missing a key fact: Kawhi has one year left on his deal and thus Kawhi’s personal preference matters quite a bit.

What team would trade the bank for a player, only for that player to leave in free agency the following summer? Does it matter that another team would be able to offer a better deal to the Spurs if Kawhi’s going to leave in Free Agency no matter what?

It’s been a poorly kept secret that Kawhi wants to play for the Lakers.

Having said that, I’d rather the Lakers wait for Kawhi next summer instead trading for him now and risk losing some of our young stars.

Our young guns are one of the main reasons why Paul George wants to be here and why LeBron is even considering the Lakers.

I think the Clippers could be a surprise landing spot in the Kawhi sweepstakes, but I think he and LeBron would have to be a packaged deal. I don't see only one of them agreeing to go to an L.A. team without the other.

I want to see LeBron, Kawhi, George, CP3 and Anthony Davis go to the Lakers just so we can see what that starting five would look like against the Warriors. Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings could build their own super-team by adding all three Ball brothers and hiring LaVar as head coach.

If Kawhi refuses to commit to a team for the long term, they're probably not going to make a trade offer for him, so how does this contradict what I said?

I love Laker fans talking about their "young guns" like they're blue-chip prospects. Weren't you guys insisting that D'Angelo Russell was the next James Harden a couple years ago?

The only people worse than Warriors fans are Lakers fans. If those two teams had all the stars, we would truly enter an NBA apocalypse of insufferableness.

Clippers fans have got to be the worst of the bunch. Hope the team moves to El Paso. ?

You guys are being mean to the Lakers fans who were there over the past five years. Those were some rough times, and I personally watched a ton of :censored:ty Lakers games that had way more people in the stands than good Houston Rockets teams. Say what you will, but Lakers fans at least show up.
