Made the orange brighter and more of a pop while maintaining that really nice shade of aqua they had going with the initial redesign? Love it. I think I said this before that for some reason I really liked that aqua that they have, so much to the point that if they went to throwbacks I would rather them keep that shade rather than revert to it.

I think this is the best they’ve looked in the last two decades. It’s true that orange was minimized on the last set, but the late 90s and 2000s set also suffered from a similar issue with navy blue intruding too much.

I’m honestly surprised in this merchandising driven era that they stripped away that extra color. They truly feel like the classic Dolphins again. We got more than we bargained for. I think most assumed either the aqua or orange shade would be tweaked and that would be it. I think everyone hoped, but highly doubted that the dark blue would be removed.

I wish they would bring back the orange alternate. Not like the Color Rush they had. With that highlighter bright orange, it was hideous and the orange pants were a step too far. This wasn’t the Dolphins.

Though the new orange would probably look awesome and much more traditional if used as the jersey color. Pair it with white pants and it could be a fun look.

Also, the Dolphins got this right in all the ways the Jags got it wrong. They read their fan base and heard that they wanted orange back. And they correctly identified that the dark blue was needless clutter and added no value to their brand. But they also recognized that they didn’t need to reinvent the wheel and over correct the issue like Jacksonville ended up doing.

@BrandMooreArt , did we lose the tramp stamp? It is the one element of the uniform we can't see in any of the pics.

Love the updated look though.  So much better without the blue.

i honestly dont know! with all the revisions and concepts we've done, that was certainly something i pushed to remove but cant remember where we landed on it. on the plus side, most of the guys wear their jerseys or undershirts untucked so it gets covered. on the minus, they wear their jerseys and undershirts untucked :0

See, Jaguars, this is how you make a traditional uniform without being boring and using your unique color scheme to its fullest. Dolphins nailed this, and even though the number font isn't great, the single outline vastly improves the look.

Good job Dolphins....something so minor looks so right.

Message to my Buccaneers, simplify the jersey numbers.  Font doesn't have to change, unless you want to, just get rid of the digital clock lines.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but @BrandMooreArt I know you work heavily with marketing materials/social/etc with the Dolphins, so I'm curious, were you involved much with this change, or was it more of a "here's what we came up with, now you present it" type of situation? Did your creative team have much input, or was it mostly ownership/Nike putting this together?

I said it all along that I loved the shade of aqua they were using. Everybody disagreed but now that they added orange everyone loves it? I wish they would have went to a more metallic helmet stripe but i'll live with it.

Wow, amazing how a small change like that makes such a huge difference. This is a VERY big improvement. The overall set is much less irritating now, but that logo is still complete trash. Sorry.

Still not a fan of the updated logo, but they look much more like the Dolphins again.

Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.

Tyler: That's neat.

Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.
