The first comment makes no sense. The number font is exactly the same as the old set.

And that person is saying it's a downgrade, but then complains about the white face mask, which hasn't changed.

I think I understand what the second person is saying, as I didn't mind Detroit's old look (but before they changed the fonts) with black.  It never bothered me.  Now, their home jersey numbers are completely illegible with the grey numbers and grey outline against the light blue.  But, he's wrong.  The orange really stands out now, and while I still prefer the older greener aqua color, it's not a big complaint with the darker, thicker orange.

This Miami Dolphins fan of 45+ years is pleased.  I didn’t get everything I wanted, but this is a significant upgrade.

We’ll suck on the field again this year, but we’ll look better doing it.  ???

I thought what they had was underrated and totally fine. I think the change makes the logo a little less sensible, but it's a really good look.

Always thought the old logo was dumb and I waffle on the current one.

Overall, I'm fine with this update but could've lived without it. Might be a slight improvement.

It is a great update. I don’t think the problem was the shade of orange but rather the lack of it. Dropping the navy from the uniform makes a huge difference too. The number font is still bad, in particular the 1 and the 7. They have an awkwardly large curve/hump that makes them particularly unattractive. Just my two cents.

I had a pennant that hung in my room as a kid, from the early 70's, in which the orange hurt your eyes of you looked at it too long with the contrast of the aqua.  I loved it!  This change brings me back to that time.   The lighter orange wouldn't have popped like this.

There are still a few more flaws in the set, but they managed to fix IMO the biggest of them. What a difference this change makes! I can't wait to see how noticeable this is on the field.

Imagine that. The Dolphins actually look like the Dolphins.

Still prefer the aqua-orange-aqua stripe pattern over the orange-aqua-orange, but this is an improvement over the previous set. First time we’ve been able to say that about a NFL uniform change this offseason.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

I rank this change my favorite among this off-season's new attire. I like that the Dolphins are focusing on aqua and orange--and not using any accent colors. What the two AFC South teams that introduced new outfits IMHO just confirms the "status quo" of their past outfits (navy as the Titans' primary  home color and black as the Jaguars primary home color).

BTW, is there not going to be an orange #ColorRush kit for the boys of South Florida?

The more I look at this the more I absolutely love what the Dolphins did here. It always feels like teams who want to make uniform changes feel like it’s absolutey necessary to reinvent the wheel. Because of that, we’ve seen some absolutely BRUTAL whiffs with these Nike uniforms. But even with how bad some of these are, a lot of the absolute worst elements of some of these designs can usually be fixed and could actually more than salvage a lot of the trash uniform sets. I wonder if this is more the future of uniform design where instead of teams deciding it’s so absolutey necessary to throw the baby out with the bath water, they take what they know doesn’t work and change it. The Browns look could actually be pretty sharp if you remove the word marks and fix the sleeve stripes. The  Jags set would probably be totally passable if not even liked had they just swapped out that trash two tone helmet for that gloss one and got rid of the weird rubberized shoulder marks. The Jets would look incredible if they lightened up that green and standardized it and fixed those convoluted shoulder stripes. The Bucs are a total lost cause but a few changes to the last set might have freshened it up and given it an even more classic look.

Just so we're clear, Miami didn't adjust the aqua, right?

EDIT:  Right.

Just looked at the slide-screen helmet and jerseys as a whole.

This takes me back to 1980 when I fell in love with the Miami Dolphins and that color scheme.
