hi I think this uniform set is top-10 in the NFL. I also have faith they’ll be wearing teal primarily by next season. The helmet is gorgeous.

Look these uniforms scream “we just signed Blake Bortles to an extension because it’s the right thing for the franchise’s on field success.” Idk how to explain it but these uniforms just feel so right for the franchise at this moment. The opposite of Blackmon-introduced over-designed garbage for a garbage franchise in 2013.

If the Jags succeed this coming year, these uniforms will become extremely popular. They’ll be seen as a model in people’s minds. I guarantee you that If the Jags stay relevant, fans of the Bucs will clamor for something similar.

I absolutley love this. Modern twist on a plain uniform. The helmet is beautiful. My brother (who could care less about uniforms) made a good paint about Teal staying an alternate, saying it keeps the Teal jersey "special."

There is no twist. It is in fact just plain. Block of color and single color block numbers. And to make it even worse, a vibrant team like the Jaguars are going black and white only

My last comment on these and I am moving on...

How in god's name can you claim how much the fans love teal and then go essentially black/white on home and road primaries?? I really hope they decide to wear the Teal pants a bunch this year.

The font is nice, although I'll miss the old one. Helmets look good too. Everything else sucks, I hate how plain these are. Black and white being the emphasis is such a failure. I'll be rooting for yet another change in 2023.

I will say, the road uniform with teal pants and black socks will look really good. There's going to be enough color balance that the boldness of the design comes across as bold instead of plain.

Where they get into trouble is with all-white ... that just looks so cheap.

The all-black is good.

The award for biggest uniform change disappointment goes to the Jaguars.

After multiple teases putting large emphasis on teal only to announce “black is our primary”, like really? Then to announce “the return of tradition” only to really mean “NOT Jagurars tradition”.

We also have the loss of gold. When fans said “remove the gold from helmets”, they heard “remove gold completely”.

This set is so boring, it’s more boring than the Dolphins who just fixed some of their issues. While the previous set was bad, it’s was more visually interesting than this. Hell, thanks to the new collar, it was actually growing on me. I was actually thinking that “maybe this set isn’t all THAT bad”. Well now we got a visually dull set. I guess we better be careful what we ask for?

Congrats Jagurars for failing to deliver the hype. How typical.

To anybody who likes these, please explain why.

I'm curious myself.

I do consider this an upgrade, but that was some really, really, low-hanging fruit. To actually like it from the neck-down?

It’s amazing to me just how far the NFL has fallen aesthetically since the Nike takeover. And what’s really alarming about that is the RBK days weren’t even all that good, either.

The lack of outlines on the numbers (even if it’s just a single layer) is the biggest sore thumb I keep seeing.

That font makes things a little more interesting than in the previous mockups, so at least there’s that. And the helmet’s a win. But like I said previously, these really lack character and charm. I see what they were trying to do - a simple, classic look - but that’s just not the right route for them. They are in desperate need of something to give it some life, whether that be a touch of gold, a pants stripe, or even the full-body jaguar on the sleeve (in which case the chest logo would need to go). As it is, it’s lacking a bit too much and doesn’t have the history behind it to justify or empower such a plain look, unlike the Raiders or Alabama or Penn State.

This board baffles me.

This set is only a few strands of unnecessary piping away from being previous Jaguars uniforms that, unless I'm recalling it differently, were universally loathed.

Sometimes it's impacted by the context of what's being replaced.  That piping-rich set replaced a much better set than this one is replacing.

It's certainly not the best uni in the league, but it's a huge upgrade over the clown suits they've been wearing the last few years. To me that's a win.
