SPORTS FAN FICTION FORUM GUIDELINES

Recommended Posts

The Sports Fan Fiction forum is to adhere to the Concepts Forum Guidelines (LINK).

Additional, there are a few guidelines specific to the Fan Fiction Forum as follows:

  • THIS IS A GRAPHIC DESIGN FORUM; ALL FAN FICTION THREADS MUST BE FOCUSED ON GRAPHIC DESIGN.
    • If a thread is unbalanced toward stories or simulations, without sufficient emphasis on logos and/or uniforms, the thread will be locked.
    • This determination will be made at the moderators’ discretion.

  • CREATORS MUST DEMONSTRATE A WILLINGNESS TO IMPROVE THEIR GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS.
    • We recognize that forum members have varying levels of expertise in graphic design, and we don’t want to stifle members’ creativity. However, if a poster does not demonstrate a willingness to make an effort to improve his/her skills over the course of a project, the thread will be locked.
    • If a poster is not receptive to constructive criticism of his/her artwork, the thread will be locked.
    • This determination will be made at the moderators’ discretion.

  • CREATORS ARE IN FULL CONTROL OF THEIR THREADS; SUGGESTIONS ON THE DIRECTION OF THREADS SHOULD ONLY BE GIVEN WHEN SOLICITED.
    • Those commenting on Fan Fiction threads should refrain from suggesting realignment, expansion, contraction and/or other aspects of the fictional league’s structure unless that input is expressly asked for by the original poster.

  • CREATORS MUST NOT START A NEW FAN FICTION THREAD UNTIL THEIR PREVIOUS THREAD HAS RUN ITS COURSE.
    • A thread is deemed to have run its course when the creator has completed all teams and seasons that he/she intended to complete, or if a new concept has not been posted in a period of two months.
