KDubK414
Longtime baseball man and great humanitarian Davey Nelson died Monday at 73. He started his career with the Indians, and played for others, most noteably with the Rangers where he is one of only a few to steal all three bases in the same inning. For me he has been a member of the Brewers organization for almost 20 years, as a coach, a director of alumni relations, and broadcaster with FS Wisconsin. I got to meet him a few times when I worked at Miller park, and he always had a smile on his face and a nice thing to say. He will be missed. He wasn't the most polished broadcaster, but his enthusiasm for the game and the Brewers resounded and his zeal for life was amazing. http://www.sportingnews.com/mlb/news/brewers-davey-nelson-dies-broadcaster-mlb-news-obit/8tp0rv53jmc619ogdyoud0mfx
