Not totally true.

 

The Rams jersey would alot better without the bright yellow collar outline, IMO.

 

Also the Ram horns would look much better if they were more angular in the front of the helmet like they once were.

The Bills switched to the red socks in 1981 when Chuck Knox was head coach.

 

i liked the white striped socks that preceded them alot better. The stripes were identical to the shirt sleeves.

 

The current socks with the royal blue in the upper area are just awful with the blue pants.

 

i wish the pants had the red belt like they had prior to 1986, that was a great accent.

 

The photo of Fergie from 1980 was the final season before the switch to the red socks, and many never noticed but the charging Bison logo on the helmet was enlarged in 1982.

All the Bills need to do with their socks is drop the blue top on the road. The stripes are fine.

Sadly the Lions are wearing their color rush uniforms in a Dallas today. I’m not sure what Dallas is wearing yet but hopefully it is their Navy uniforms

EDIT: Never mind once again color rush is ruining good matchups as more and more teams just wear alternates/color rush for no reason
