So will Louisville finally get rid of the Bobby Petrino mess/family of coaches?

The Nepotism Train loves collegiate sports route the most, when allowed to.

His staff has his son and two sons in law.

The only argument I've seen for keeping him is it will cost $14 mil/3 years regardless if he's at Louisville or on the couch. As poorly as they've played this year, it's not down to one player laving, it's down to poor recruiting, coaching and attitude.

That's well known but Louisville has lots of horse, tobacco and liquor money. He doesn't recruit well and with UK success, they have to remove him.

BTW, how did Aggie lose to Auburn and not cover the 3.5???

You know, Nebraska may be having one of the worst seasons in school history, but this is the most fun I've had watching them in a while. Yeah, I'd love for them to be in the CFP hunt, but anyone who legitimately expected them to jump to a title contender right away after hiring Frost was delusional. Even in the years where they were ranked in the top 15, they would get blown out by better teams because they just quit after going down two scores. Today, they never gave up. They had a shot until the final drive. You can argue that they're a couple mistakes away from having a winning record at this point, but unfortunately, that's not how it worked out. Yeah, 2-7 is hard to see, but the progress is evident and has me excited for the future.

Kentucky is in the top 10.  In football.  I must be in some alternate universe or something.

Next thing you know, Vandy will win the SEC.

You still have the bye week game vs Idaho.

Yeah, I'm not too worried.  It's still pretty clear the program is on the way up.  I think Franks was only the guy this year out of a lack of other options.  Hopefully, Emory Jones is ready to go next year and Franks transfers somewhere there's not as much pressure on him.

That defense is one of the best Ohio State played all year. They didn't luck into turnovers, they forced them. Today was the first time Ohio State punted in three games vs Nebraska. Ohio State has been trying two RB attacks that don't work against better teams. I think they need to just roll with Dobbins and use Weber inside the 10.

Not sure if anyone else caught any of the LSU-Bama game, but I did (of course) and I'll say it now:

Crown 'em.   No one is going to beat Bama this year.

NO ONE.

They are a frickin' machine this year; best recruits and talent, best coaching staff from the top down, and a method of not making mistakes.  Only drawback is their kicking game.

It is what it is.

I'm surprised that either at the half or the end of the game Saban didn't say "We need to recruit a kicker."  It's been their Achilles heel for years now.

I tend to take things one game at a time.  Get us through Mississippi State, Auburn, then Georgia, then whoever in the playoffs should we get there.  It's going to be a sad day when Saban finally hangs it up.

Pac-12 is mush.

The PAC 12 South in particular is an absolute dumpster fire. ASU is NOT a good team, yet they still control their own destiny in the south.
