Landry Shamet Sixers jerseys and he's worn that number in minicap... but Amir Johnson (who wore 5 last year) just got re-signed... He even used to have Hilario on the back of his rookie season jersey. I'm assuming this was the motivation for the legal name change as the NBA is/was pretty stringent with surnames back then. As a uniform number fanatic, I’m interested to see what will happen with Dwight Howard in D.C. I’m pretty sure Dwight has always worn 12, but Kelly Oubre Jr. already has it, and he’s been in D.C. longer and has done much more to earn it from a Wizards perspective.
