the Miami Miracle might as well have happened 100 years ago

We get it, you don’t like the patriots. Still, the chiefs control their own destiny, and the Texans still have a 50/50 shot of being the 2 seed, at a minimum. A lot of football still needs to be played, just watch and enjoy an amazing game that happened last night.

So, wait... did that game turn against the Chargers on the missed call on the blatant helmet to helmet, or for the Chargers on the P.I. in the endzone?

The PI.  It's the last call.  We only care about the last call.

It's honestly the entire sequence of events that just ruins it for me. We've had SO many games in the past 5 years that have been at best dampered, at worst completely ruined, because the officials absolutely cannot stop tripping over their own dicks. I feel like since the replacement refs came in and blew that Packers-Seahawks game (Which I LOVED at the time) the on-field product has taken such a nosedive that it's hard to keep any real interest. Nobody knows what a catch is anymore and the rulebook is so stupid convoluted that the excitement of EVERY big play has to be delayed due to the fear of a flag. And some of the calls have been downright brutally poor. Also, I understand the head-trauma issues, but the way they try to regulate that diminishes the game to the point where I've honestly felt like it's a sport I don't even want to continue following. If big hits like that, which have been the staple of why this game is popular in the first place, are THAT much of a health concern for players, how can I even continue supporting it on a moral level? It's all such an enormous turn off.

And that's without even touching all of the off the field issues this league has. And the fact that it insists it keep revisiting these issues and constantly getting these issues so dead wrong.

Football is kinda stupid, guys.

It honestly kind of reminds me of myself playing FIFA around February/March of this year. I’d come to the realization that in all honesty I hated this game and got very little enjoyment out of it, but I was still convincing myself that I somehow liked it and needed to keep playing it. I decided to quit in April and have been a lot happier since.

If you can’t enjoy an amazing football game between two likeable teams (not owners - teams) because you’re worried about the implications regarding the Patriots, you might need to take a step back and reanalyze if you actually enjoy the NFL, man. I say this as genuinely as possible.

In the last five years, we've all been trained to look for the flag icon on the scorebug after every big play. It's really bad.

The last time that Gregg Williams was a HC and had a team in the playoff hunt this late in the season, Drew Bledsoe was the Bills starting QB and Tom Brady was only in his third year in the NFL. Good for the Browns, I hope they win their last two games and pull off a miracle playoff berth like the Bills did last year.

The Texans desperately need a Patriots loss to the Steelers. If that happens, I think Houston will win out and wind up as the #2 seed.

I assume the Dolphins are down 21-0 to the Vikings just to prove how baffling it is that they keep beating the Patriots.

Yep. I think the other part is that Minnesota found it's offense after last week's stink bomb in Seattle.

Fire Scott Linehan.

Colts DC is Matt Eberflus, who spent the previous seven years on the Cowboys staff, last four as LB coach. He knew most everything they were calling.

The bigger issue is why were both Dak and Zeke in during the 4th quarter in a 23-0 game with three guys on the OL out and one of them in the hospital with an eye injury?

Can't wait to hear from the Red Robot with his clichés about, "finishing the fight" or "displaying grit"

He can't call plays to save his life.

He regurgitates the same plays, over and over again.

It's extremely easy to stop this team when they;

1) Go short run on 1st & 10

2) Incomplete pass on 2nd & 5 or a Dak takes an unnecessary sack

3) 3rd and Long? Checkdown City.

A 5-yard checkdown on 3rd and Long? Careful there Scott, don't want to look too much like a genius.

I mean, Dallas is still in the driver's seat, but God; I don't want to see this team win this Division, and play like dog[censored] in the playoffs.

Believe me, they will find a way. They always do.
