doctorpeligro
I just noticed that there is a unique aspect to the giant version of the classic shield logo the Chargers have painted with their primary logo at their new headquarters in Costa Mesa: This version of the logo has both Navy Blue and Powder Blue. Until now, I don't think I've ever seen an official version of the logo with both shades of blue. I think it looks good, maybe good enough to be at the upper left chest of the jerseys? (perhaps in lieu of the "CHARGERS" wordmark between the NFL shield and player number). Well, maybe two shields would be one too many for the front of the jersey. Has anyone found a clean version of the navy & powder blue shield?
colortv
They've also been using a powder blue background for the logo on social media handles, I think they are going to make it the primary over the navy when they go into the new stadium.

FiddySicks
I still think the weirdest thing about this Chargers move up north is the fact that they moved their practice facility to Costa Mesa. I used to live on the end of Conway Ave (right on the corner of Baker and Harbor) and that new facility would be about 500 yards from my old living room. I think the only thing that would’ve prevented me from actually seeing the facility itself is the Stater Bros grocery store in-between (I think. I could see that IKEA from the back yard). I can’t imagine how awful traffic must be there now. It was terrible when I lived there 12 years ago and there wasn’t anything there other than OCC and the fair grounds which were used maybe twice a year. Oso
The Charger shield logo was always one I enjoyed. Glad they are gradually bringing it back.

But it's interesting that the original had very rounded font for the "L A" and semi-rounded font for the "CHARGERS," whereas the update uses non-rounded block font for the "L A" and completely rounded font for the "CHARGERS." I wonder if this was an intentional change or just a goof. oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel . Of course the Spanos family waits until they move to LA to finally switch to powder blue. Yet another example of how little they cared about San Diegans or their support. Not that I want to be in the business of defending the Spanos family, but that shift could also be the result of now sharing a city with another blue/yellow/white team (arguably one who is currently more popular than the Chargers) and wanting to distinguish themselves. oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel . I hate driving through that 405-73-Fairview-to-Harbor confluence. Yeah, the Carson Chargers of Costa Mesa is the weirdest. It's pretty dumb. Tucked in behind an IKEA and a closed down alternative newspaper, and if it weren't for the football goalposts and the Chargers logo on the building (that they didn't even put up until 2/3 of the way through last regular season), it'd just be another office park building in a swath of them. (Also, your geography is a little off. The IKEA and Chargers practice facility is on the north side of the 405. The Stater Bros. would be to the south between your old place and the Jack R. Hammett Sports Complex, which the Chargers use for training camp... even though its literally right down the street from the practice facility... 1.7 miles/5 minutes down Fairview... shared between Orange Coast College and Costa Mesa High School... God this Chargers thing is so dumb.) | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
