AUDL (American Ultimate Disc League) Uniforms and Logos

The AUDL is the largest pro ultimate frisbee league in the country. Ultimate is often played casually, but most people are probably unaware it is played professionally. Just thought I'd start this thread discussing the teams' design elements generally, and see where it goes. Sorry, I could only get this link up. Should show all home jerseys.

And logos

My personal favorites, both logo and uniform-wise, would be Atlanta and LA, though I may be biased because I played on LA's farm team briefly.

The New York Empire have great road uniforms; but their home uniforms are not very good.

A non-uniform-related comment, if I may: I was surprised at how great a spectator sport ultimate frisbee is.  These matches are beautiful to watch.  To see for yourself, check out the AUDL's YouTube channel.

New York eliminated Toronto in the playoffs this year, marking the first time the team has not been East division champion (made it to the semi finals) in their history (6 years).

Ultimate is a fantastic sport to watch live and very easy to understand. I highly recommend it.

From a logo/uniform standpoint: I think all the logo look pretty darn professional for a minor pro league. The uniforms have a mix of very soccer inspired shirts and more "extreme" (I can't think of a better word) sublimated patterns.

Traditionally, or at least since sublimation reared it’s ugly head as the go-to decoration technique, ultimate uniforms have been consistently pretty awful. Glad to see a few teams bringing good aesthetics back to the sport. The ones I designed for our club team in Cleveland circa 2008 were the best in the business, though.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry
