The San Jose Barracuda will be throwing back to all the former San Jose Sharks AHL teams.

On the one hand, its really cool that the team is paying such thorough tribute to the organization's history.

On the other hand, at what point are they just highlighting how awful their current identity is?

So this apparently slipped by the board?  I hadn't seen it posted but I guess CCM is doing some new things.

SJ Barracuda apparently showed this new collar a little bit ago as well.

I really hate how just because one jersey maker does something, everyone else seems to have to follow.  Nike had the rounded hem, so Reebok has to do it.  Adidas with the wide, weird collar, now CCM has to do it.  The laces are completely pointless, why even have them?  I was hoping that with CCM now out from under Adidas' hands, they can actually go back to making jerseys great again.  I guess not.

Apparently all teams are moving to this new CCM template (Similar to the ones worn for the recent Utica All-Star game)

I could've sworn that the Colorado Eagles were no more.

No they just moved from the ECHL to the AHL.

Definitely a downgrade. I loved last years set, aside from the socks on the white not matching the rest for some unknown reason.

But, I get the sense they went this way to make life easier with equipment and align more to the parent club.

This should be the Lightning jersey template

Didn't think this needed a new thread, but the 2020 AHL All-Star game is going to be in Ontario, CA. The logo was unveiled at the Kings vs Kings scrimmage.

Those carbon fiber collars are...interesting, and not in a good way.

Random rant, but this thread is the only semi-appropriate place for it: Speaking of downgrades, I still can't get over the Cincinnati Cyclones change from a couple years ago. There are a lot of terrible jerseys in "the coast", but that one absolutely takes the cake. I used to go to a lot of their games when I moved to Cincinnati, and I never thought a rebrand could make me lose interest in a team as it's just laundry after-all, but they've managed to do it.
