SilverBullet1929
Interesting throwbacks for the Cardinals... how many fans in attendance had no clue they were wearing throwbacks? Also, Tigers were in gray? Edit: Nevermind, I read why that is... pretty cool detail.

jrodsep
I actually like that road throwback. And the white D cap on the roads looks great.
msubulldog
Is this the first time in MLB history where the visitors were in white, and the home team in gray?
Discrim
No...a few years back, the Rockies threw back to their original grays for a home game against the Mets, in honor of their first ever game back in 93. There are probably a few others I can't recall. A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
Gothamite
The Brewers have been involved in two of those. In 1993 they did a home-and-away throwback series with the Texas Rangers with each club using one set of uniforms, so they wore gray at County Stadium. And then in 2013 they planned to do the same with the Twins. The Milwaukee half of the home-and-away series was cancelled, but not before the Brewers had been outfitted as the team in white. This time the Twins were the home team in gray. I’m really disappointed that thise beautiful 1948 uniforms were never worn at Miller Park, but that was the same year they did the 1913 TBTC game and all their other alternates and reportedly that’s where the Brewers decided to draw the line. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
