Mac the Knife 1,226 Posted October 8, 2018 Does anyone here (who lives in the U.S.) use Bet365.com? If so, have you had any issues with them (making deposits, collecting winnings, etc.)? With the latest SCOTUS ruling I'm presuming that I can lawfully place a bet via Bet365 same as if I were at a legal betting parlor here in the U.S., but I'm not sure to what extent that ruling applies where websites like Bet365 would be concerned. Does anyone out there know?
dorshak 203 Posted October 8, 2018 Bovada is probably the best option for United States players. I didn't see Bet365 on these (USA) reviews, so maybe avoid that website. https://m.sportsbookreview.com/best-sportsbooks/ https://www.oddsshark.com/sportsbook-review

Does anyone out there know? The SCOTUS May ruling in Murphy v. NCAA really only dealt with states ability to offer sports wagering. Offshore betting sites like Bet365 are still illegal in the eyes of the FBI and US banks may not accept wire transfers of your winnings depending on where they're located.
Cosmic 5,005 Posted October 9, 2018 The Supreme Court ruling didn't legalize gambling anywhere; it threw out the law that prevented any additional states from legalizing gambling.

Now this is the kind of information I was curious about. Thanks, Wabes... but are online wagers within the U.S. now legal? I suspect I know the answer to that due to the lack of internet gambling sites popping up all over Hell's half acres, but am curious. For the first time in probably 15 years there's something I'd like to bet on, and if between now and then I wind up in a state where it's legal I'll probably place a bet on it there, but figured if I could do it online that'd be more convenient.

Everything offshore is unlicensed and your bank may not accept any wire transfer of your winnings.
