WBeltz
New England will be revealing their new away jersey at midnight(?), at least that's what the tweet is implying.

If I recall they also did this last year with their primary kit. NE and like one other team officially announced their kits either at midnight or the morning of the 1st. Finally we're getting actual reveals man. Idk if last year was just out of the ordinary but it felt like way more leaked early last year than it did this year. Or does it have a broad central chest stripe and gray bars either side? Why'd it have to be a drawing, guys? Give us an actual picture man. hendocfc
There is a picture in the end of the video sort of. I'd say it's meant to be light grey/blue (it does look blue on the video) and the white is a central stripe.

A jersey week is a great idea. But why hold it in February, two months after the biggest shopping season on the calendar? The NFL is hamstrung by its schedule, not wanting to announce new uniforms while the old ones are still playing. But MLB does a great job of leveraging their off-season to unveil new looks before the holidays, and even the NBA has started to do that with their special alternates, dropping them right when people are looking to spend money. MLS is missing an opportunity here. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
Gothamite
Interesting that they prominently use the New England flag in the promo but the actual shirt has an American flag jock tag. MLS is missing an opportunity here. I may be off about when it was. New England being the first to announce theirs shows teams are counting on Christmas to clear out last year's gear instead of selling this years new kit. They could at least make training ground sweats and jackets available since most of the country would need it still.
Digby
So that’s a second year of a Revs shirt that looks more like Sporting Kansas City. Really odd move, imho. What happened to the red? If you look closely at the inside of the shirt, you can see a faint red rectangle just below the neckline. I’m wondering if that’s the New England flag on the back of the shirt. hendocfc
That's not how to Ajax,New England. That's definitely not how to Ajax. The broad centre stripe is a classic footy motif... but this is drab. Would look much better in the actual Ajax colour scheme actually.
aawagner011
One of the trends that I’m not a fan of is to reveal only the shirt. It’s called a kit for a reason. Show us the shorts and socks.
Brian in Boston
The Revolution's new jerseys are the very epitome of the franchise unveiling them: underwhelming and instantly forgettable, with the very light blue-gray apparently meant to invoke the club's fading into obscurity amongst the region's major-pro sports teams. hendocfc
One more thing about this NE change top from me: It would look infinitely better with proper sky blue instead of this ice blue/gray...
