Name: Nick Alexander

Position: Pitcher/1st Base

Jersey Number: 33 (17 is taken, so to pay homage to Patrick Roy and Larry Walker)

Height: 6'0"

Weight 225 lbs.

Bats: Switch (sheer power)

Throws: Right (mid-sidearm)

Runs: okay for a big guy, put a ball in the air, and my speed doubles trying to catch it.

(*fast ball - 93MPH, seriously)

I sure hope we don't get a basketball team cuz that's the one of the four sports I CAN'T actually play well.

(*fast ball - 96MPH, seriously)

seriously? then why arent you playing baseball.

Because as soon as I throw about 25 pitches, my arm gives out on me and starts hurting like a bitch and I can't throw anymore.

Ummm...ok

I've hit against and caught 90 before, and its faster than you can imagine. If you can throw 95 teams are knocking down your door just to put a uniform on you no matter how many piches you can throw or how wild you are. If you can throw 96, even for 25 pitches and your 20 years old....go to a tryout.

Same if you can run the bases in under 14 flat.

A couple kids on my college team are playing in the minors, the one with the best chance throws about 90 and he's a fastball pitcher. Too many people far overestimate their speed.
