kevinmets
My apologies if this has been requested already. I'm not about to read through 6 years of posts. Can anyone identify the font from this old Nationals logo? (The "Washington Nationals" font, not the "DC" font)
Lights Out
That's Albertus. Quote POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
Raymie
That NCAA logo is almost assuredly CBS-inspired, derived from the type used by CBS Sports. Big difference is where the C meets the first A ? those are not connected in the original CBS version. The old actual NCAA logo was much plainer ? a circle with serif text. slapshot
It's not recommended because it's overused. It was originally designed for DePaul University. Somehow, it made its way to the realm of freeware fonts, and has been used in hundreds of logos, concepts and uniforms. Even the New Jersey Devils use it on dasher board advertising. You can't unsee it. Quote Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016

Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
