CDixonDesign
What is the font the Suns use on their numbers (below)? Looks very much like Berthold City/Square Slabserif 711 Bold, but it's not identical. The 1, for example, is different.Eriq Jaffe's NBA fonts contains the SUNS file that should work for you. http://eriqjaffe.50webs.com/
truepg
Thanks, I meant the real font, though. This contains only the numbers, and they are not traced properly.
CDixonDesign
The fonts were created in conjunction with Eriq Jaffe, and our own LMU helping out. Berthold City Bold is a commercial font, however, you can download freeware versions of it. It's a slippery slope, and a personal judgement call... Shumway
I'm pretty sure the Suns' number font is City.
truepg
Then it should be tweaked, because there are some differences, at least in the 1, 2, 3 and 4. For the record, the Cavs used the same font on their late 90's/early 2000's uniforms. Here's Berthold City for comparison (doesn't allow me to post the pic): http://www.fontyukle...?id=73143&set=
mattb6
this has probably already been asked, but where can i get a free version of the font they use for the generic super bowl logos? thanks
CDixonDesign
The Super Bowl font is called Endzone Tech, and is a proprietary font, and they're aren't really any freeware fonts similar. However, if you do some digging around NFL publications, in .pdf form, you should be able to find it. illwauk
Is there a good approximation for the lettering here?
Ted Cunningham
There're a fair few fonts that approximate that style of lettering. A quick Google search of "license plate font" came back with several that look about like that.
