ZBoyer Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 This is my first attempt at a concept, and most of it is just a bit of recolorizing with a few added pointers that I've learned from you guys.Anyways, for those of you who know (and those who don't), here's the current UMES logo:And here's my newer version. Not a big deal, but I think it looks a little more ferocious than that little thing that wouldn't scare a small child.Any comments from you experts? I wish I was able to make small edits here and there to the logo, but I didn't quite think of that, so just suggest things I should have done. Hope you like it. redsfan39 Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 its really hard to read "Umes" "Hawks". white on white makes it near impossible to read. this is a good start but your bird doesnt really look like a bird. try having the wings more like the current logo. RedEye Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 This bird head is just a recolor of an AF2 logo correct? Try basing a new design off of this rather than just recolor it.
