I'm always shocked by the attention they get compared to original logo concepts posted on these boards that took much more creativity, originality, and talent.Recolouring an existing logo is very easy to do and the result is something that instantly looks professional, but it doesnt hold a candle to new logo concepts - even if they are sometimes rough around the edges.
