Obvious changes made, but still keeping within the strong tradition of the franchise. Biggest change is probably the pinstripes added to the away uniforms. Others too, though. C&C welcome.

(And FINALLY they now use the same "NY" logo on the jerseys and hats.)

Hm, not quite sure what to think about this one.

The away script definitely fits. Very classy. I also liked how you made the uniform and hat logos the same. That's something that always bothered me.

My only problem is the alt. To me, teams like the Cardinals, Yankees, Tigers, etc., should never wear them. However, that is a great looking uniform.

Good concept overall. It's just hard to change a team like this.

I agree with Anomalied. The away jersey looks better than the one the Yankees have now, and the New York across the chest looks great. I don't think that the Yankees should have an alternate jersey either, though. Well done, though.

Sure, I'll post that later on tonight or early tomorrow afternoon. The patch is actually a little joke for Red Sox Nation, it's a patch commemorating the 5 year anniversary of the Yanks' last World Championship, lol. I basically just modified the 2004 Opening Day logo on the main SL.net site.

Like the standardization of the NY. Good call.

Don't like the outline on the numbers, or the combo of piping and pinstripes. Also don't like road pinstripes. The New York script is nice. I think for an alt, instead of a navy or colored alt, just a grey version of the home jersey sans pinstripes would be cool.

I agree. And one other thing, lose the white piping on the Alt jersey. It looks not only too modern for the Yanks but the Red Sox also use piping like that on their home jerseys. The reason i say modern is only because i feel that any dark alt with light colored piping looks too modern, ala the D rays new alt

I love the "New York" font on the away jerseys. It is a very good look. But I would have to agree with others that you should lose the pinstripes on the away jersey. Pinstripes and gray just don't go together. It also seems that all the Yankee concepts I have seen have a navy alt jersey with a white "NY" on it. I think "Yankees" in the same font as "New York" on a jersey would look nice for a home alt.

Anyways, this is a great concept except pinstripes on the road gray? Nah, I don't like that, but everything else is fine. And yes, if that wouldn't be a problem can we get a closer look at the sleeve patch please?

I am a die-hard Yankee Hater. But that is a good uniform. Expertly done.

Alt uni: Not doing anythinig for me. Los Yanquis are like number four on the list of teams that just don't need an alt, nowhere, nohow.

The only thing I would change, though, is the piping on the home and road jerseys. Pinstripes look good. Piping looks good. Pinstripes with piping, though, is always wrong. It gets in the way of your overall design here, which except for the piping is a decided improvement on what is already a great uniform.

To clear something up....there isn't any piping on the home or road uni's. I think you guys are mistaking the actual black borders on the template I use.
