amare32
I presume they paid someone to design that logo....So, gentlemen. How do I get into this whole graphic design racket?
yh
I don't mind it.There's no rule that says all corporate logos have to have some new, unique font or incorporate (no pun intended) some kind of cutting edge design.Sometimes a simple blue square with simple type inside is just fine. slapshot
A simple blue square with simple type in it IS just fine.Unless the type doesn't match the font used in every one of the station's graphics. -kj
umm, who cares? We do. If you missed it on your way in, this is the General Design portion of the board. It's kindof like the Sports Logos part of the board, where we nitpick every part of jerseys and logos, only in this area it's applied to non-sports logos.Frankly, if you have to ask "who cares?" about a topic on here, you're on the wrong board. sscrunner06
There isn't anything wrong with a simple logo, but they should have just stayed with the logo they had. This new one just doesn't compare to the old one imo. I guess I'm a little partial to the old one, because at a recent Weather Channel hurricane fair in Biloxi, MS I won one of those jackets that Jim Cantore wears as he is standing in the middle of the hurricane.
