Uglier than 1990, 1994, or 2002. We're talking "overall." The Lotto kits had those little spikes around the perimeter of the chest, Puma with the lower-case letters and the unreadable numbers, and all of those vertically-striped socks. And they are all those sleek cycling jerseys. Not even Italy could escape the ugliness; two shades of dark blue??About the only non-ugly uniform in the entire competition was Argentina.
