My point is that this IS a sports logo site and that when people put their political agenda on here they should be prepared for criticism. I tried to use an example of religious icons that could offend some, again I probably overreached on making the point.Again, this is a sports logo site and should be kept to that.I thank you for involving yourself in discussion, but I think if you had a problem with my sig, you could of checked out "It's Official" a thread I posted in the Lounge that deals with Mr. Obama's canditacy for President of the United States. I think that thread would of been better to discuss that matter.This thread is just a crappy joke made my me.OK bonanza, call me retarded, but is Obama's logo an O? Thinking I might check it out (since the Giants have disbanded theres no team in our 20,000 seat arena...)!or the Washington Generals, one of those two.the Pope and Henry Kissinger are honorary Globetrotters. We are in a war for our very existence and it is people like Barack Obama who refuse to understand that. The world was full of people like this during the Thirties and they allowed Hitler to kill millions of innocent people. I would have said the same thing had the post had a John Edwards logo.It's amusing how quickly people are to label someone a racist when they have no clue what that person is about. Makes you wonder if that person has some racial difficulties of their own. I do understand that my analogy to a swastika may have been a wrong one, my intent was to merely state how I thought political icons had no place on here. For that, I was told that I didn't have enough "posts" to be able to make such a statement. Interesting...............didn't realize there was a minimum before you were allowed to state your opinion. As for turning off the "signature" feature, I didn't realize that was an option. I do enjoy a large majority of the signatures on here that poke fun at or support various teams and players. We're not talking about the the idea of wars, O'Reilly. That's not a pacifist, that's just somebody who thinks we were lead to war under false pretences. Which is true. And who is "Hitler" in your superb analogy (your second) to the Nazis? Is it Saddam? He's removed. Is it Osama bin Laden? Well, if it is, we're in the wrong war. And Obama says, "it is time to refocus America's efforts on the wider struggle yet to be won." Implication there, being the war on terror. So, this pacifistic enabler wants to ditch a dead-end war that we should never have been in in the first place, and concentrate on the broader war on terror, seeking to rid the world of the real threat to our very existence, the one that actually attacked us? Sounds reasonable to me. Regardless of whether or not Saddam should have been removed from power (and I firmly believe he should have been), that was not the war we should have been in, given the reasons we were given. I will proudly be voting for Barack Obama in 2008, and I pray that many of my fellow Americans do as well. And your low post count doesn't mean you shouldn't state your opinion.
