Kelsey Grammer has joined Twitter in the last few weeks; apparently, his entire purpose for tweeting is to correct bad grammar.

So anyway, the library where I'm at right now has this Tank McNamara treasury from the late 1970s. It's a glorious time capsule into the sporting world of the 1970s, and its interesting to see what has changed and what hasn't.

You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. Kind of a low-rent DG_Now.

This is floating my boat all the way down to New Orleans and back.

This kind of makes me want to become an English teacher rather than a math teacher. I'd use this at the beginning of every school year.

Loved that strip. Back when newspapers were still relevant, the first two things I read when opening my daily Toledo Blade were Doonesbury and Tank McNamara. No one cares, but both the softball team I played for in the 80's and my current CCSLC fantasy baseball team are named the Bashers. For those that don't know, the Bashers is the baseball team in the Tank McNamara comic strip.

Yeah that's "pretty cool." Congrats man! How exactly will you be covering them? Reporting? Article?
