That australian shepherd is cute as hell.

Don't have any pics, but I have a 5 year old golden doodle, Alomar (named after Roberto), and a 1 or 2 year old maltese, Annie Oakley.

awesome stuff guys, a wide variety of shapes and sizes!

i agree, that australian shepherd is gorgeous.

Thanks guys, thanks from him that is; I'm sure he would give y'all a big face lick if he knew you. He'll lick you to death! :D

Oh and that was a funny picture raysox. :)

Looks like Puddles is a big Wiener. Hope he doesn't have back problems because of his weight.

She's a tad on the chubby side, but thus far, no troubles...Zeke has been our problem child...We thought we were going to lose him last summer, because he got all crippled and was down for about a month...The vet said he thought he had calcium deposits building up in his upper back...My wife is a nurse (for people), but she nursed him back to health, bless her...Zeke is my buddy...We play together and he's my constant companion...The other two are really attached to my wife, but Zeke is usually with me when I'm home...

My fiance and I have three pets.

This is Cheyenne. My future father-in-law got her about two years ago at an adoption drive. She was adopted from a shelter located in Moyock, North Carolina. Because we think she's too special to be considered a "mixed breed". We made one up -- she's the first, and possibly only, Carolina Clownfoot. When my fiance moved up here last year, her father suggested that she take Cheyenne with her. And so here she is.

And then... you have our two cats, Buzz (left) and Fran (right). We got them from a friend of ours at the dog park after mentioned our mice problem at our old apartment. We're not particularly fond of the names, but he named them after his uncle and grandmother, so we felt bad changing them. So alas, we put our own twist on them, giving them full names. Hence, I hereby present Buzzuka K. Runamok and Francesca C. Luvacat. ^_^

My buddy Muffin. He passed away in 2004 and I haven't been able to bring myself to get another buddy since then...but I will someday.

Webhamster:

Is that a Maine Coon? I used to have one just like him. He was a big fluff ball too, his name was Phil, he was best friends with my dog Greedo.

He passed in 2005 and it took me a while too. However, in November there was a stray kitten about 2 months old in my yard. It was snowing and raining so I took here in and dont regret it.

When you're up to it, look into a new pal.

Good Luck!

-Dan

I have no idea what he was. All I really know is that his mom was a Siamese. We always assumed dad must have been a Persian or some kind of persian mix because he seemed to carry himself with the regalness of a Persian.

But I looked up the Maine Coon on Wikipedia and the article describes him and his personality perfectly so I'd have to go with Siamese/Maine Coon mix.

He is a border collie so he'll look different as an adult than he does as a puppy whereas my golden retriever pretty much looked like a miniature golden retriever when she was a puppy.

bumping this thread back up!

When I started this thread, our two little guys weren't even a year old. now they're 3+ and the best of friends and I can't imagine our loves without them. we catch them playfighting, snuggling, being partners in crime (cat knocking food off counter into dogs mouth). My wife and I are putting off kids for a few more years....these two are filling in quite nicely!

They've so increased our love for animals that we've actually become very involved in helping out at our local Humane Society. We volunteer a few hours a week to give the dogs some exercise and love. We find it a very rewarding way to give back and it's a great way for use to spend some quality time together too.

Anyone else have any new furry additions to the family?
