Is that paint legal? It seems like that might become a problem when it comes to threes that are close to the line

Uh, the NCAA made the court, yes it's legal.

It's terribly distracting watching it on TV.

Was my first thought seeing that court. Awfully distracting.

Sorry about the late reply, but the rule for the free throw shooter to stay "within the circle" was apparently put in after Wilt Chamberlain - a Shaq-level free throw shooter - used to shoot free throws by standing at midcourt, running up to the free throw line and dunking the ball.

Sorry about the late reply, but the rule for the free throw shooter to stay "within the circle" was apparently put in after Wilt Chamberlain - a Shaq-level free throw shooter - used to shoot free throws by standing at midcourt, running up to the free throw line and dunking the ball.

Seriously? I know that Wilt is considered the best or second best player of all time, but I'm not sure that he was athletic enough to consistently dunk from the foul line, especially considering that he was a big man. I could be wrong though. Do you have anything that backs this up?
