Gotta love the reaction of the ball players.

They should have talked to the "Over the Hedge" writers about licensing Hammy.

This must be one of the strangest minor league baseball presentations of a mascot. Culminated with the lack of creativity for the mascot nickname as well as having about 100 kids signing a modified "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" song? This is very disturbing.

Nutzy sort of resembles Aero the Acrobat. Anyone ever played that game?

At least he isn't Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, the reply I saw on Facebook have been comparing his name to Nazi, some people have WAY too much free time on their hands :rolleyes:

I must admit, if you crop the Flying Squirrels' primary logo so it only shows Nutzy's outstretched right hand and head, I can picture him squeaking, "Sieg Heil!"

Considering the locale, wouldn't little squeaks of "Freedom!" or "Featherston!" be better?
