TFoA
Jahgee beat me, but it's true: Lakers will NOT lose Bynum. MRI came in showing that it was a bone bruise, & Bynum himself has said that he will be ready for the playoffs. Good for the Lakers that they dodged that bullet; they may not have needed him for the past 2 championship seasons, but they damn sure would've needed him this year. But, I think they should move him during the offseason. His knees have given him trouble every freaking season.
Cujo
Amazing that the Lakers refused to give up Bynum to get Melo, thus becoming a mini "Dream Team". We all knew this was going to happen.
loogodude90
Fun fact: Tonight will mark the first time that every NBA team is playing on one night, since 1957. Also, all of the games are starting at either 8:00 or 10:30, so that some seeding outcomes will be decided almost simultaneously (I think). I think it's cool they are doing this, especially since some things still need to be decided tonight. I think this should be a tradition, to have all 30 teams play on the last night of the regular season. OnWis97
T-wolves end up with worst record in the league. I think, though, that the 4th pick won't give the answer to this woeful franchise. NEW.ERA
Yeah I was wondering why the Raps and Heat didn't get underway till 8pm ET. Isn't most of Toronto in bed by then Also goes to show one player actually does make a difference in the NBA. Cleveland and Toronto worst teams in the Eastern Conference. loogodude90
ESPN couldn't find a better option than Grizzlies-Clippers tonight?I think the Grizzlies were one of the rare teams whose fate (seed) was still being determined tonight. So it was actually a sensible programming decision. WIZARDS ORIOLES CAPITALS RAVENS UNITED
Lights Out
ESPN couldn't find a better option than Grizzlies-Clippers tonight?Speaking of that, Griffin posted another triple-double last night. Awesome way to close out the year, but it's playoff time next year. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
