Peavy for Cy Young is quite the prediction considering he's probably going to miss at least half the season.

I expect him to be so dominant in his shortened season that voters will take notice.

No, I was going for the ridiculous, blatant homer pick ? I mean, I already have the Sox winning it all ? and it wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

So, current reports have Peavy on track to pitch April 10 against Tampa. Still a ridiculous prediction, but not as absurd as previously thought.

I don't have enough time or offseason transaction knowledge to post my predictions for every team, so I'll stick to my Orioles:

I'm predicting an 80-82 finish (and I think I'm being optimistic with that), 4th in the AL East. I'm also predicting at least one of our better players to either have a devastating injury, or severely underperform (Garrett Atkins-style).

I think this will be a "stepping stone" season and that we will finish over 0.500 in 2012.

What do you mean by "for realz". Yes, after the World Series each participant will be responsible for counting their own points based on the point system posted on page 1, if that's what you were asking.

I did not believe this to be an actual competition for the CCSLC. However, since there is an official point system and such, what's the ruling on this post:

2010 Major League Baseball World Series

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Boston Red Sox

PHI 4-2

It's not CCSLC certified, but I figured Chris wouldn't mind. ^_^
