Since you can't show the actual leaks anymore, here's something better to look at lol:

That would've worked quite well for THE Marlins.

Fixed it for you. Anyway, Who here wants Guillen to get pi$$ed off at the new logo, goes on a swear filled rant on the press conference and orders management to get rid of it?

When can we expect to see the new Marlins uniforms and complete logo package? I'll reserve final judgment of the leaked logo until I see it within the whole logo system, or w/e terminology is used these days.

That was a concept he made.

Ahh, the little MLB logo threw me off. Great concept though!

Haha I thought it would be funny to put it on the same template as the leaked Marlins/Blue Jays images.

That would be the greatest thing I've ever seen lol. In all seriousness I can't imagine Ozzie will be able to work out under Loria. Granted, he was the 3rd base coach here in 2003, but at the helm there will surely be some episode(s) where he blows up at ownership. The first might be when they show him the new cap he'll have to wear in 2012.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I get at the color change. The Marlins ARE teal, you can't just take that away from them! It's like taking red away from the Reds!

Not.. Really. Comparing a teams primary color of about 10 years being taken away to that of one of the oldest franchises in baseball, who's color is also the team's NAME, are not the same thing.

I've been a diehard for years and all I rock is my fashion caps. teal is gross.

Yes, teal is very "90's". But that being said, regardless if it was trendy at the time or not, teal fits perfectly for both the Charlotte Hornets and the Florida Marlins. They took the ball and ran with it, perfectly. Having either team (regardless if they change locations) turn their backs to their teal roots would be a travesty. I get that the Marlins have pushed the teal back into a background color for the past 10 years or so, but at least it was still there. If anything, the teal should've been reborn with the new stadium and new uni's.

Flambouyant colors do not represent Miami or Florida. Plus, blatantly ripping off Viacom's logo and then using Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' album colors further shows a lack of creativity.

Like I siad, they may be a product of 90's trend, but that is when they were born and that's the colors they should present. The Grizzles and Sharks never truly embraced it quite like the Hornets and Marlins did. Both look damn near perfect.

IF ONE IS CONSIDERED RACIST, THEN BOTH MUST BE CONSIDERED RACIST.

BOTTOM LINE: NEITHER ONE IS RACIST.

in fairness, at least "moves like jagger" finally served some purpose besides making me want to drive my car off a cliff.

The Sharks didn't?

The Sharks looked almost perfect, the first time they hit the ice. Can you imagine how the revamped logos would look on those things? Such a mistake they made, changing that shade of teal, nearly forgetting about gray, overdoing the black and adding orange.

I like "flambouyant" as one of the best accidental portmanteaus we've had here. I guess that's how you'd describe a really fat guy in a Hawaiian shirt.

Pretty sure bright colors do represent Miami, unless there's some other Miami I don't know about that looks like Buffalo.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
