yh Posted December 13, 2002 Share Posted December 13, 2002 I believe it was the Syracuse Nationals, n/k/a the Philadelphia 76ers.Wait, no, that was Jim Brown.Hornung only played 1 year of college basketball and I don't think he was ever drafted by an NBA team. He was however drafted by the Saints in the 67 expansion draft and was also rumored to be ready to sign with the Jets of the AFL when he announced his retirement.
