ONUV
UCLA looks terrible. One of the best things about their jersey was the shoulder stripes. This is a total fail. if they're going to use that template, they might as well put the stripes on the sleeves. also, don't know why they changed number fonts.beautiful game
mbannon92
I agree that tan/gold pants would look much better for the Irish, but we're 4-0 so they better stay Also, they do look a lot better in person than in photos. Make the Hog red. 2. Make the helmet white with no faded black/gray. 3. Make the razor on the shoulders black.

Kevin W.
1. Unnecessary helmet and number gradients? Check.2. Helmet colors that are almost entirely without precedent? Check.3. Random striping? Check.Yeah, I'm seeing a lot wrong there. A red logo could have actually worked pretty well, though Arkansas in anything other than cardinal red helmets looks weird.
henburg
Personally, I love Rutgers' new set. I think that it is a great example of a modern football uniform that has some unique elements like font and helmet pattern, but it doesn't go crazy, like Arkansas with the gradient. Also, did UCLA darken the blue? I kind of like it, it really pops in some pictures.
Raysfan12
Rutgers probably takes my pick for best uniform upgrade of the year. It makes Rutgers stand out from other BE schools without going too overboard.
JPDesign
Arky's easiest fix would be to lose the gradient numbers. In the stands you can't read anything.
Bearcats
The helmets couldn't be anymore perfect, the pants are just awful.ND needs to go with shiny gold pants like FSU used to wear.

Two shining examples of Nike's design department running out of control.Rutgers has a great, unique look (unique being what I think is the most important element in a uniform [note; not the ONLY element, but the most important]).Arkansas on on the other hand... Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I would like to see them take the gradient off he numbers and helmets and put a red hog on the helmet like others have said. It wouldn't be a half bad combo at that point. I would still prefer a traditional set but I could live with these if they did those two things.
Mingjai
I thought Minnesota looked pretty damn good in all maroon today.Thought they were ASU in a highlight package. That says volumes on the poor visual identity evolution of both programs over the past few years (Minn should never go all maroon, ASU should never have a non-gold lid).Minnesota needs to adopt athletic gold lids to match the more successful hockey team... Old School Fool
I'm still disappointed Oregon shelved the Fighting Ducks jersey. Well, maybe we'll see it this season and its a surprise? I don't know, but what I do know is that it looks great with the chrome helmet in NCAA Football 13. Â

gdu
In 5-10 years, all of those unis (Rut, Ark and Ucla) will look patently rediculous in hindsight. Some would argue they do now. And it's not like Ark hasn't worn anything embarrassing in the last 5-10 years. Same for scarlet knights in the black unis. UCLA's problems have largely been execution, rather than concept.I'm still disappointed Oregon shelved the Fighting Ducks jersey. Well, maybe we'll see it this season and its a surprise?
