The arched TCU logo will be preserved. The cartoon frog will be replaced by a more life-like version. The font will be that used on the helmet and scoreboard this year.

That's a shame. I like the current (soon to be former) frog.

Yeah, I actually think it needs to go the other way.

I mean.... SERIOUSLY?

When I read "life-like" I think "more detail." People wanted more life-like for the Detroit Lions...I was glad they kept it a silhouette.

I guess what I really mean is that I'd like less detail. The current logo has too many intricate little marks, etc. If they tone down the detail and it becomes more life-like, then (and I guess my interpretation was wrong) great.

Generally, I don't like too much "life". My favorite Oriole cap was the early 1990s with the simple bird. The more life like version used through last year was a downgrade for me.

Actually, I get what you were saying, and I was saying the same.

The current logo (which shouldn't change) has plenty of detail. I don't know why they'd want it to be "more life-like".

My first thought after reading this was that they'll use this frog more. Hope I'm wrong.

I was doing some research about horned frogs, and discovered that the TCU logo is in fact, a horned toad

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
