wILL-INI
Just an idea, it might be a rehashing of something already out there, but I thought it would work well with NIU. Pretty basic concept, I know. I love NIU's huskies so I didn't really touch that. Worked it in. Just a fun project, but I'd like it look decent (before I store it away forever in the depths of my hard drive). Well C&C please...Here are some of the other options I came up with. "Classic" does not mean it gets a free pass for being bad design.Portfolio
Julius Seizure
Catchy as hell, man!! Very simple, and modern. It looks amazing with the husky(?) embedded in it. You should present this on a helmet! One thing you might try is losing the black 'I' and bringing the tips of the 'n' and 'u' to where an 'I' is formed by the negative space. AnythingChicago
Wow, this is fantastic! I absolutely love what you've done with the NIU acronym; the second script from the bottom is especially spectacular.Well done, sir!

wILL-INI
So here I have my revised logo. Filled in the negative space around the I with N and the U as suggested. I think it works so much better. I then ran into this problem, how do I put the huskie in there? I tried a couple options, none I'm really happy with. I wanted the I to be consistent shape in each logo, but do I shrink or add on to. So I donno. I'm still working on that aspect. I also added a couple additional alt logos. On a side note, I have a couple idea with logos. I thought up this 'Bama logo. And now while I realize this one is a little more... out there, I was still wondering if I could get some C&C.... Lumbergh
Simplicity=perfection. I love the NIU design, very sharp and to-the-point. That Zephyr hat would be sick.
gatek99
NIU design is nice, however Bama looks like an octopus

OK, any suggestions on how to make that ear look less? I'll try out a couple ideas... Discrim
I know one thing, the NIU logo is clever. The Bama Alephant...well, it looks like an elephant and an octopus had a baby. Sapphire
Damn, that looks great. Clean, professional, and unique. Nice work.
Rambulance
That's a really beautiful logo, Will. Miles ahead of what they currently use.
creativelysain
I'd like to see the "nIu" logo as a single standalone color. If it works in that respect (and I think it will), then you have a very nice concept here. If you are using this as a University mark, you don't need the Husky with it. Not sure it works as well as an athletic logo as it would a University logo. Doesn't take away from it's effectiveness nonetheless. illwauk
I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to see how this would look on a helmet. Not bad!
pcgd
have you explored having the I just be the negative space instead of it being in white?Just a thought to look at...might not look good.
creativelysain
Kind of the same thing I was wondering. Try it out in 1 color and see how it comes out. Follow me on twitter @jrsainGo Heels
rcb05
On the Bama logo, try making it's left tusk the ride side of the "A," instead of the tusk being parallel to the right tusk. This might make it a bit less "octopus-esque"
